Project Contributions

• I assisted the scribe in writing the meeting minutes, each team member wrote down their suggested research topic and the disadvantages and advantages of their topic in the minutes. My topic was "Inbuilt/GPS tracker for bicycles".
• For our chosen research topic "Elevating Wheelchair", I researched on some suggestions to improve the current design of elevating wheelchair.
• I brainstormed some mechanisms that exist today that is able to lift a load up and down.
• I thought of and suggested a "scissors mechanism" which is used in the construction industry to lift their workers up and down.
• The team agreed with the suggestion and we went on to do a more in depth research of that mechanism that exist in the market right now and wanted to check if it was feasible to install it onto a wheelchair
